The Honda Jazz has topped the latest car reliability poll, a popular model that is very affordable when bought with Car Finance.

The new survey from Which? Car found an exceptional 96 per cent reliability score for the Jazz, with over 1,300 owners reporting that they had hardly, if ever, had any problems with it.

Honda also dominated a range of other categories, with the previous model Honda Civic, the Accord, the FR-V and the CR-V all at the top of their vehicle classes.

However, the new Civic ranked much lower with an 82 per cent reliability, just ahead of the worst performing car – the Land Rover Discovery 3 – on 79 per cent.

A second study conducted for the Times separately found Honda to lead public perception of the efforts it is making to tackle green issues and improve the environmental profile of its vehicles.

Toyota ranked second of this poll with a marginally lower score, although consumers were particularly impressed with its efforts towards developing and promoting cleaner hybrid cars.

Encouragingly, all of the leading vehicles are reasonably priced, particularly when bought with car finance or Car Credit – the easy way to bring payments down and get you motoring faster.
