Once again the Peugeot 207 has topped the poll of Europe's best selling cars, new figures show, remaining popular for its great driving and affordability with Car Finance.
The 207 beat the ever popular Ford Focus, sporty Fiat Punto and newly relaunched Vauxhall Corsa for sales in June, repeating its lead from the last two monthly polls, according to Jato Dynamics.
Peugeot's nippy hatch also took the honours for the most sales in the first six months of the year; however, Volkswagen remained on top as the overall brand of choice, boosted by improving Golf sales.

"The European market is extremely complex. Various economic and legislative forces in individual markets have helped to shape the figures for the first half of 2007 and we continue to see wide variances in the fortunes of particular countries," said Nasir Shah, international sales and marketing director at Jato.
"Despite the challenges, Jato is still confident that the industry will judge 2007 a successful year. The growth in central and eastern Europe is phenomenal, not to mention the other emerging global markets," he added.
