Suzuki has revealed details of its latest small city car, which could be available to Car Finance customers next year.

According to Auto Express the new Suzuki, which is thought to be a replacement for the Japanese manufacturer's Alto model, is set to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

It is thought that drivers, including those looking for approved car finance, will have the choice of three engines including a three-cylinder 1.0-litre model and a 1.2-litre petrol version - with a diesel version expected to follow.

Although details are vague at the moment, it is also reported by the magazine that the new car could carry the Alto name and an entry-level model could come with a £7,000 price tag.

One previous driver of the Suzuki Alto is pop star Jamelia who, according to the Daily Record, learned to drive in one of the cars over a five-day intensive driving course.
