Young car loans customers advised: "spend wisely"

Young motorists shopping for the right new or used car need to do their research in advance, one expert has advised.

According to an article for the Pacific Daily News, Atkins Kroll sales associate Donna Muna-Quinata says new drivers face one of their most significant investments when purchasing their first car and adds that they should be ready to "spend wisely".

She states that creating a budget that can easily be stuck to is important and suggests that new motorists, including those with approved Car Finance, should be prepared.

This is acknowledged by Derrick Muna-Quinata, another associate at the group, who notes: "A lot of teenagers walk into the dealership not knowing how much it actually costs to have a car."

He adds that modern features on a car such as iPod connectivity, car stereo systems and DVD players are often tempting for teenage drivers but the article goes on to suggest that this may not always be realistic.

Consumers with Car Loans may be interested to know that auto enthusiast Kyle Busch suggested in a recent article for sacbee.com that a used car can often be as solid a purchase as a newer model.
