Ford has announced the details of their latest Focus ST and according to the manufacturer the new car is a fine tuned version of its predecessor.It is reported that Ford's Team RS has made a number of changes to the Focus ST both inside and out, but have advised Car Finance customers that it is still every bit as good as it was before."While offering new technologies and features, the car's well-honed dynamics remain untouched," the company said in a recent statement. Based around a 2.5-litre turbocharged Duratec engine, it is noted that the new model will offer "a suitably sporty soundtrack" and is capable of 0-62mph in 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 150mph."Combining bold looks with a thrilling driving experience and numerous new features, Ford’s new and improved Focus ST is the definitive hot hatch," the manufacturer concludes.The original Ford Focus small family car was intended as a successor to the company's popular Escort and was launched across Europe in 1998.© Adfero Ltd
