Car loans customers offered economic options

Drivers with new or used Car Finance have been given more options for economic motoring, according to reports.

Jason dawe, motoring expert for the Times, said this week that for those shopping in the used car market Suzuki's swift could be a suitable option.

He points out that the vehicle had been less popular than BMW's Mini, a car he states the Swift has a notable resemblance to, but adds that the model could now be in demand on the pre-owned market due to its style and efficiency.

"With strong demand and limited supply, secondhand Swifts hold their value well, and although they don't come cheap, they certainly are distinctive," he said.

For those looking to buy new, however, Auto Express reports that Skoda is to build a revised Octavia, a car that Top Gear magazine referred to as a "masterpiece of dependability"

It notes that the new car is expected to come with a price tag of under £10,000 and will likely be a "reasonably equipped" with electric windows and air conditioning.
