Not recommended. An oversized supermini that is showing it's age. Now looking expensive and 1.1 engine is underpowered.
Steer clear. Ancient Honda-based mid sized hatchbacks and saloons that encapsulate Rover's dire predicament. Outclassed, old and poor value.
Recommended. The best car in the MG Rover range. While the 75 is stylish with classic lines, the sporty ZT model has plenty of equipment and a good turn of speed.
Not recommended. Reasonable levels of equipment on some models but hard to hide the car's Indian origins. Prices seem well over the top, too
Average. Britain's best-selling roadster is a re-working of the old MGF. Much improved and great fun to drive but the styling and some of the interior is dated.
Average. A funky 'sporting' version of the Rover 25 with firmed-up suspension and a lurid bodykit. Much better to drive, but it can't hide the fact that the basic bodyshell is now out of date.
Average. The sporty version of the Rover 45 is great fun to drive despite harsh ride comfort. In-your-face looks might not be to everyone's tastes and it's dated inside.
Recommended. The most refined and entertaining model in the MG stable. First class build quality and the estate version is simply a beautiful machine.
